Kosseris family given go-ahead on $50M Dubbo development |

They've been given the go-ahead to build a retail and accommodation complex in Dubbo valued at more than $50 million. Kosseris was behind the collapsed Gravity and Ambience projects in Wollongong that went under when the Belmorgan companies went into administration... leaving creditors owed millions of dollars. However Mr. Kosseris says the Dubbo project is under a company of which his wife is both director and secretary.. |

The Great Shellharbour Council Sell Off
The first step in selling off Shellharbour public assets to fund the controversial City Hub development has been taken this week. The council has employed the services of two real estate agents to get things underway. Five properties including the council's admin building - Lamerton House - and the former council chambers at Warilla have been earmarked to fund stage One of the project. Read more
Illawarra not far off being FAT
New studies show Australians in remote or regional areas are struggling to keep their weight in check - with 4 out of 5 fat. Roy Morgan research has found 70 per cent of people in Bourke, Dubbo, Broken Hill and Orange are officially over-weight or obese. While South Coast towns are apparently not far behind-- with 68 per cent of people in Eden, Kiama and Batemans Bay needing to shed kilos. Read more
