Staffing issues regularly lead to the Bulli E-D shutting its doors and directing patients on to Wollongong. This time it's between the hours of 8am and 8pm both today ( Saturday ) and tomorrow. This week a 12-thousand signature petition was presented to state parliament calling for the Bulli Emergency Department to be open 24/7. |

Major damage in Oklahoma City suburb of Moore, including two elementary schools destroyed. At least 120 injuries reported. A massive, mile-wide tornado with winds up to 200 mph killed at least 51 people during 40 terrifying minutes of destruction across southern Oklahoma City and its suburbs. The state medical examiner's office confirmed the number of deaths and said the toll was expected to rise. Doors Founding Member Dead
Ray Manzarek, a founding member and keyboardist of 1960s rock group The Doors, has died at a medical clinic in Germany at age 74 following a battle with cancer, the group's manager Tom Vitorino said. Manzarek, who lived in Northern California's Napa Valley wine country for the past decade, had been seeking treatment in Germany for bile duct cancer, Vitorino said. He died in Rosenheim, Germany, surrounded by his wife and brothers.
