A message from Wave FM Management about Greg Vincent


Wave FM doesn't know where Greg Vincent came from. He just turned up during the 1997 Breakfast on the Beach and told everyone he was a new staff member. No one doubted Greg as he seemed enthusiastic in his work and was friendly, especially to female members of staff. We usually couldn't find Greg during the day but we always could count on Greg to be in the Wave FM "Green Room" every Friday from 5pm.

Greg has had a role in a variety of positions at Wave FM.
He unsuccessfully was Promotions Manager for a short time before management, now regretfully, appointed him a member of the sales team. When Greg was asked at a sales meeting "What's your forecast"? Greg replied, "Last time I looked it's overcast but fine. Expecting a top today of 23 degrees".

Greg has continued to amaze management.

Wave FM's Bigger Breakfast was the last mountain for Greg to climb. He has managed to keep his co-hosts, Dave & Jade, on their toes. The same can't be said for Greg. His laid-back style is compensated thankfully by Dave & Jade who keep the energy high during the early hours of weekday mornings.

Greg does have his good points. He's always good for a tip on Melbourne Cup day.
